Confirming Your Insurance Coverage

Before beginning counseling, we strongly encourage you to contact your insurance company to verify your behavioral health benefits.

To do so, please call the number on the back of your insurance card. Some plans may have a separate customer service line specifically for “Mental Health Benefits” or “Behavioral Health Benefits.” When you call, it’s helpful to ask the following questions:

  • Is my Wellbrook Wellness therapist an in-network provider for my plan?

  • What coverage do I have for outpatient mental health counseling, whether in-office or via Telehealth?

  • Do I have a deductible, coinsurance, or copayment? If so, what are the amounts?

  • Is there a maximum number of visits allowed per year?

  • Is a referral or prior authorization required for services?

We recommend asking these questions to your insurance provider to help determine your benefits:

  • Does my health insurance plan include mental health benefits?

  • Is Meyerbrook Counseling an in-network provider under my plan?

  • Do I have a co-pay per session and if so, what is it?

  • Do I have a deductible? If so, what is it and have I met it yet?

  • Is TeleHealth covered?

  • Does my plan limit how many sessions per calendar year I can have? If so, what is the limit?

  • Do I need written approval from my primary care physician in order for services to be covered?

At this time, we are not Medicaid providers.

Rates

Private pay rates are $175 - $195 per session. We also offer a sliding scale for clients without insurance.

Payment

We accept most credit/debit cards through our secure portal. We expect payment when services are rendered.

Cancellation Policy

If you are unable to attend a session, please make sure you cancel at least 48 hours beforehand. Otherwise, you may be charged a cancellation fee.
